What. A. Weekend.
- I finally took my Christmas tree down...next step, putting it in the attic. (I have a new roof - thank you, freak hail storm 2010...and all of the roofing stuff went into the attic...so if I pull down the thing to get up there, everything is going to fall on me...so that'll be a project for next weekend...I need to get a tarp to put in the hallway to catch all of the roof remnants.)
- I sent entirely too many texts to a certain someone last night...and woke up feeling prettttty stupid...
- I planned on staying in all weekend...and, of course, did not.
- Had a great evening last night reminiscing with old friends and reliving our past through old pictures. Told stories, talked about old memories and played shot for shot with a bottle of Smirnoff.
- I did homework for the first time in four years and remembered the feeling of accomplishing something academically.
- I got a flat tire...and had to call roadside assistance. Thank you AT&T for taking my $2.99 a month to come help me in my time of need.
- I learned that people from Alabama really can do the best Forrest Gump impressions.
- I found out exactly how hard one has to hit a wooden table with a beer bottle to make an indention. (Next time you drink a beer at a wooden table, notice all of the little indentions that look like the bottom of the bottle)....
- I saw a girl at the bar that had just come from a wedding....HER WEDDING....how did I know this? Because she was still wearing her wedding dress. And I don't recall seeing her husband anywhere. I'm very upset that I didn't get photo evidence of this nonsense. Absolute nonsense.
- I got the best $3.00 hotdog from the "guy outside of Edna's with the hotdog cart" and was made fun of by my friends...until they had a bite...and then realized that I WAS A GENIUS.
- I got groceries and made myself a delicious and healthy dinner....
- I had an all-around great, fantastic, amazing weekend...but I'm ready to go back to work.
