Well, since it's been so long since I've blogged...I guess I need to get caught up.  Or at least for those of you that read this, I need to get you caught up.

In all of her glory...my favorite 29 year old bar owner/legend......EDNA RUTH...

I feel like I neglected poor Edna Ruth by not posting about her FABULOUS 22nd Anniversary Party last week.  Last Monday.  Yes, I indeed went to Edna's on a flipping MONDAY night - but it was worth it. 

I'm sure it seems that I talk about Edna's because I'm obsessed with the bar...which I kind of am, but I'm also a bit obsessed with Edna.  I've been going to Edna's since I can remember (long before I actually had any business in the bar)...

Like we do at every party at the bar, TaraLeigh and I got paparazzi'd right when we walked in the door.

We were then escorted to see "Mr. and Mrs. Lunchbox"...which neither one of us understood....or understand now...but here they are.

I actually asked Edna last week if I could write a book about her.  I could easily fill a book with the stories that Edna Ruth has told me...and I could, no doubt, fill one hundred more with all of the stories that she hasn't.

One of those stories I would tell would be about how the three of us tried once to eat chocolate covered strawberries for what was sure to be a fab photo op.  Never one to disappoint, Edna had us rolling!!!  Don't ever give this woman TWO strawberries. 

She can in fact put them both in her mouth.

Thanks for another fantastic year Edna Ruth.  I simply adore you.
