"I think this is how love goes....check yes or no."

For those of you that actually know me, you know that I adore all things tradition.

When I was little, the week of Halloween....most every year...my mom would make me go somewhere with her.  Like clockwork, every single year that I can remember.  Most kids would have thrown a fit but it became something that my mother and I still do...whenever we are given the chance.  This is something that I look forward to, it's a very big bonding time for us.  Now that I'm an adult, it's even more special.  We know that we've become a bit obsessed, but we don't care.  This is our mother-daughter thing...and a few times, we've let my sister, Regan, come with us....

I found out this afternoon that we, for the SIXTEENTH time...are going to be sitting on the 14th row to see....our love...
MR. GEORGE STRAIT.

January 15th, we will be drooling over this incredible man...

It's gotten so funny that we always make bets with the people around us about what color shirt he will have on and what color hat.  We're usually right...  :)

We sing at the top of our lungs...of course, we know every single song...and we sing badly...and it doesn't bother us a bit...it might bother our neighbors but that's their deal.

We saw him last year in Tulsa @ the BOK Center and we were so close that I got to touch his hot little hand.  I wouldn't let go either.  I just lovingly looked back at my mom and smiled...and in my head said to her, "OHMYGOODNESS.  OHMYGOODNESS.  HeHe I bet you wish this was you!!!!"  :)

She reveled in my excitement though and smiled like the proud mother that she is.

I can't wait to see this man again.  I may never be able to distinguish if it's our love for him...his music...his Wranglers, or our tradition that makes this so special, but the excitement is there, nonetheless.

Oh George...

Well, thank you, could I drink you a buy?

Oh, listen to me, what I mean is can I buy you a drink?

Anything you please.

Oh, you're welcome, well, I don't think I caught your name.

Are you waiting for someone to meet you here?

Well, that makes two of us glad you came.

PS.  That wasn't my chair afterall.

Thanks to my WONDERFUL BFF, Luke....you are the greatest friend in the world!!!!

I am the happiest girl on the planet...and now you all know why.  :)

PPS...if you don't like George (I'm pretty sure this is impossible) but you may want to turn your phones off on January 15...from about 7:00 until Midnight.  I'm the girl that calls her friends and sings with George.  :)

Even after the show, I promise that we will still be singing in the car on the way home.
Even if there is no music.

PPPS...There are two women performing that night as well...LeeAnn Womack and someone named Reba McEntire....and that's not half bad, really.  :)
