Well, it's here.  Holy cow.  2011.  I'm still a bit in shock that it's already here.  Christmas is over...Thanksgiving will be here again before we know it.  Yikes.

Every year, I think about this song...and I've never really gotten it.  So I did what I do with everything.  I Googled it.  You're welcome Google, I think that I single-handedly keep your site up and running. 

So for anyone that cares...here is the translation for that song...Auld Lang Syne.  I still think it's kind of silly but it's tradition...and that I adore.

Let me get this straight, We twa hae paidl't in the burn ACTUALLY means-We two have paddled (waded) in the stream?  Or And we'll tak a right guid willie-waught ACTUALLY means-And we will take a goodwill draught (of ale).  WILLIE-WAUGHT?  Really?
